
Cameron J. NaqviBSc
Cam graduated from NAIT and moved to the US twhere he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Engineering. Cam started his career in commercial real estate and worked as a Real Estate Representative for Safeway. In 1999, Cam moved back Canada where he joined his dad and older sister in the family business, Cameron Corporation, which was founded by his father, Jerry, in 1980.
Since joining the company, Cam and his family have been instrumental in overseeing the development and strategic direction. His vision to create the best in-class shopping centres through creative design, sustainability, tenant mix and amenity spaces has helped to build a strong brand that established the family company as one of the most active commercial real estate and retail developers in Western Canada.
Beyond his professional achievements, Cam is deeply committed to philanthropy and mentorship. For over 25 years, Cam has been active in various boards and committees including: Vice Chair of UDI, Edmonton Chamber of Commerce Transportation Committee, Edmonton Economic Development Transportation Committee, Red Cross Fund development committee, Canadian Mental Health Association Board, (Y2Y) Yellow Stone to Yukon Conversation Society Board and a former Allard Chair of Business for Macewan University. Cam received his ICD designation (Institute of Corporate Directors) in 2021 and is an active member of the ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centres) and YPO. Currently he is, Vice Chair of BOMA Edmonton, Chair of Al Baqir Academy School and is on the Advisory Board for Kuby Renewable Energy.
